Did you know that a haddock is a type of fish? And a whisky-addicted, gruff captain, of course. Being at the trading dock, we dropped the c. Et voilà, our child had a name! Want to know what Eliane and Pieterjan’s other child’s name is? Jacqueline, Jackie for the friends.

We found our place in one of Ghent’s most charming spots. You are immediately in a holiday mood when you walk past the houseboats. Imposing cranes still refer to the old port, but brand-new stories are being written at De Nieuwe Dokken. We are happy to write them!
